BOOKS
History of the Simon Mills Family, Katie R Mills, Vol I, p4:
"Widow Mary (Buell) MIlls married as her second husband- and she was his second wife- Samuel Bissell, son of John Bissell of Windsor. The date of their marriage has not been found, but it is proved by the fact that she as Widow Mary Bissell bequeathed her property toher Mills children.
"The first wife of Samuel Bissell was Abigail Holcomb, daughter of Thomas Holcomb, married 11 Jun 1658. They had ten children. Abigail died 17 Aug 1688. His second marriage took place between this date and 2 Aug 1697.the date of his will making provision for wife Mary- possibly in Jul 1691, as previously suggested.
"They lived at Windsor, where Samuel Bissell died 3 Dec 1700. His age is not noted but he probably was just a few years older than Mary inasmuch as he was but a small lad when his father brought his family to Windsor in 1639; and Mary was born in 1642..."

The Mary and John The Story of the Founding of Dorchester Massachusetts 1630, Maude Pinney Kuhns, Charles E Tuttle Co, RutlandVT, 1943, (CT Historical Society):
